If a pull request (A) is being reviewed and there are no merge conflicts, and then another pull request (B) is approved and merged and this results in a new merge conflict in A, send email to the originator of the A pull request about the newly created merge conflict.

Currently you either have to go to the webpage and notice the merge conflict yourself, or someone else in the group has to notice it and notify you.
