I would like an event to be fired when a user is mentioned in a comment

At the moment if I want to respond to a comment mention, I have to listen to the onComment event and look for a tag myself. Since the notifications plugin already does this work, it would be handy to have it fire a specific event for mentions instead. Then I wouldn't have to use my own regex to look for mentions or anything like that, removing myself from implementation details.
