You currently cant authenticate from GitExtensions using putty based ssh authentication.

This should be a base included feature, as most windows based Git developers are already using this due the simplicity of using pagent to cache credentials of the ssh key.

The methods of caching the http password mentioned in the help are not satisfactory given one of them involves leaving you password in plain text on your file system.
