Issue Summary

This is reproducible on Data Center: yes (Bitbucket v8.15+)

With the introduction of the Auto-merge feature in Bitbucket 8.15, customers expect that Auto-merge will occur without the need to manually click on the Merge button.

In testing the auto-merge feature, we noticed we have to click the Merge button so that it merges automatically once the merge checks are met. We would prefer to have this happen automatically once auto-merge is enabled.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Enable the Auto-merge feature at the Project or Repository Level.
2. Enable any Merge check.
3. Push changes to the repository.
4. Create a Pull Request.
5. Click on the Merge button and then click on the Merge button again to activate the Auto-merge feature.

Expected Results

Auto-merge should be activated immediately when a Pull Request is created.

Actual Results

The Merge button requires two clicks to activate the Auto-merge feature.
