Doing Ctrl+F at source view page does not bring up browser search bar after disabling keyboard shortcuts feature in Bitbucket user profile

      Issue Summary

      Yes, reproducible in Bitbucket 8.8.2

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Login to Bitbucket.
      2. Go to Manage Account, disable the Keyboard shortcuts and Save.
      3. Go to any repository, and click on a file to open the Source view page.
      4. If you hit the CMD+F/CTRL+F keyboard shortcut, nothing happens - it should open the browser's search bar.
      5. If you just do a single click on the code panel, from that same page, just to highlight that panel in the browser and hit the CMD+F/CTRL+F keyboard shortcut, then the browser's find bar is displayed.

      Expected Results

If you hit the CMD+F/CTRL+F keyboard shortcut - it should open the browser's search bar.

      Actual Results

If you hit the CMD+F/CTRL+F keyboard shortcut, nothing happens

      Workaround

If you just do a single click on the code panel, from that same page, just to highlight that panel in the browser and hit the CMD+F/CTRL+F keyboard shortcut, then the browser's find bar is displayed.

This issue seems to be resolved and the customer that replicated it had a misunderstanding of the intended functionality.

Cannot reproduce in 8.9, 8.19 and 9.1 so closing this issue for now.  Here is a screen capture of the native search working when keyboard shortcuts are disabled.
