Currently, the performance impact of database encryption on Bitbucket DC is not known, whereas such encryption is a security requirement for some customers.

It would be beneficial to explore the possible adverse performance impact (if any) of DB encryption on Bitbucket DC.

Note: Bitbucket supports many DB engines - this feature request does not include in scope any recommendations of DB encryption for different DB technologies.
