Description
Issue Summary
Informative (static) content is not readable by a screen reader.
Element description:
- Number of commits )e.g 1 commit) from All changes in this pull request
- Pull request changes details like user name, and date when changes are made from a particular change request option
Description of issue: Above information displays in Pull request changes selector drop down options but it's not conveyed to screen reader users.
Steps to Reproduce
- Open the Pull Request.
- In the Pull request, navigate to the Diff tab and activate it.
- In the Diff section, open the commits dropdown menu.
- Keeping the screen reader on, navigating into the options, and observing the information.
Actual Results
In the Diff section, the informative content such as "Number of commits )e.g 1 commit) from All changes in this pull request or
Pull request changes details like user name, and date when changes are made from a particular change request option" are not accessible to the screen reader user. This makes them unaware and inaccessible to the informative content available on the screen.
Expected Results
Ensure the content is available to the screen reader user. Try to code the content into one link or button element.
When the screen reader focus is on the option, the whole content should be announced to the screen reader.
