When we disable "Allow basic authentication on API calls" in Bitbucket, currently it to only disables it for the Primary instance. API calls to mirror instances still respond to basic auth. Now even though we do not have the same set of API endpoints in the mirror like that of the primary, it would be good to disable in mirror as well when disabled from Primary.
