Issue Summary

DB IO spikes when auditing retention job runs, the retention DB query takes long time to run.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Given 10M audit events in DB
2. Perform some user actions which generates more events.
3. Wait for hourly Auditing Retention job to run

Expected Results

1. Retention cleans old events without causing DB IO spike

Actual Results

1. The DB IO spikes when retention job queries DB

Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
