As a Bitbucket admin, I want to easily identify inactive users and bulk revoke their access

      Problem Definition

We do have a feature request for filtering active users (BSERV-7571). We still would like to easily identify users who were inactive for the last 30, 60, or 90 days. Simultaneously, we want to be able to bulk revoke their access. We do not want to revoke access manually user by user.

      Suggested Solution

Under Accounts > Users we can add more filtering options that allow listing inactive users for the last 30, 60, or 90 days:

      • We can also add a checkbox to bulk revoke access for these users rather than manually revoking access one by one.

      Why this is important

More efficiency in managing the user tier.

      Workaround

Currently, the workaround is to follow the Knowledge Base Article How do I find which users count against my Bitbucket Server license to:

      1. list all the users counted against the license.
      2. identify the inactive users based on their last authenticated date.
      3. work on a script to bulk revoke access to this list of users
