Unable to navigate into the menu of the Repositories drop down list when using VoiceOver

Issue Summary

When using VoiceOver to navigate Bitbucket UI in Safari, I am unable to navigate into the menu of the Repositories drop down. 

Steps to Reproduce

1. Deploy Bitbucket 7.2.4
2. Fire up Safari or Chrome, and enable VoiceOver (you need a Mac).
3. Using the VoiceOver navigation, move your cursor over to the Repositories menu.
4. Once on the Repositories Menu, you can use VO-Space to expand the menu drop down.
5. If you now want to go down into the list of items, there does not seem to be a way to do so. You can move left and right across the banner options, but the menu doesn't seem to grab focus on the first item in the list for further navigation down the list of Repositories.

Expected Results

It's expected the content to appear directly after the expanded button.

Actual Results

Voiceover announces that the buttons are "expanded" but the content appears at the end of the page, and then backward element by element until they reach the start of the new content.

This also seems to affect navigation for a couple of plugins that add Favorites (enabled through Favorites for Bitbucket plugin) and People button.

Workaround

Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior.
