      Hello,

Running Makefiles and Python scripts correctly depends on the correct use of tabs and spaces.
We have a lot of Makefiles and Python scripts which are checking with pull requests every day.
With Bitbucket 7 we cannot show whitespace characters in the pull request anymore.
This option has been removed from the diff view action menu.
As a result our developers complain that it is very difficult for them to check the code of all the Makefiles and Python scripts.

      Could you please fix this?

For this topic I found a suggestion https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BSERV-12245.
Could you please change it to be a bug report? This seems to affect a lot of developers.

The attachment show the menu and the apperarance of  a makefile with Bitbucket 5.15 and with 7.3. As you can see with 5.15 you can see the error in the Makefile at a first glance and with Bitbucket 7 this is not possible anymore.

      Best Regards,
      Milan
