We are using squash commits when merging branches to develop. We would like to verify that the squash commit message follows predefined syntax. 

We tried to apply Merge check -> Common Checks -> Syntax check (Enable the syntax check for each commit message). However, this option does something else - it requires that each commit message in the PR branch passes the syntax check. 

Is there a way how to validate only syntax of the squash commit message?
