      Users are unable to download LFS files using an HTTP(S) mirror URL.

      The key line from git output:

      Error downloading object: test.png (14b3be8): Smudge error: Error downloading test.png (14b3be8789f6b4a4e98a00bd30e6ffa3b58995c0e2d0936a5980f83379bc828f): LFS: You are not permitted to access this resource: Access is denied

      Workaround: Use an SSH mirror URL or a non-mirror URL (SSH or HTTP(S)).
