Problem Definition

When upgrading with the installer and selecting the old installation directory, users receive "The target installation directory is not empty."

Users have to choose an empty directory to place the new install files. This can sometimes break custom tasks / startup scripts, which then need to be updated for the new installation directory.

Suggested Solution

Allow users to replace existing install directory when upgrading.
