      Atlassian update - March 2022

      Hi everyone

      Thank you for your interest in this issue by either voting, commenting or watching. We may be closing this issue but are continuing with our efforts to update accessibility in Bitbucket Server and Data Center.

      We have just published a refreshed VPAT document for Bitbucket that you can find here: Atlassian Accessibility.

      Ensuring we have an up-to-date VPAT is just the first step. In place of this ticket, we are creating detailed accessibility issues that can be watched and tracked. We’ll make sure to include resolved issues in release notes.

      Problem

      Currently Bitbucket's VPAT is quite old and needs updating.

      Proposed solution

      Perform VPAT compliance testing and make sure Bitbucket Server meets the criteria.

            Ah, cool. I think the last VPAT issue was really just to create the report, not to fix anything. And apparently a number of customers really just wanted that report to check a box...
