Problem Definition
When a repository is corrupted, administrators should be able to restore it and all the related details.
At the moment, it is only possible to restore the Git repository itself by following the steps on this guide:
Suggested Solution
Provide a way to restore a repository from a backup.
Workaround
Using the Data Center Migrations available since Bitbucket Data Center 5.14, perform the following steps:
- from a Bitbucket Server backup, create a new temporary instance to be used for the steps below
- export the affected repository from the temporary instance
- import the affected repository into the production instance
- rename the imported repository in the production instance
