Steps to reproduce

1. Go to the branches page in a repository
2. Type a search term in the branch filter text field
3. Wait for results to return

Expected result

Branch list is filtered and the search field retains focus so that additional filtering can be done immediately.

Actual result

Branch list is filtered, however the search field loses focus.
