Unicode emojis are garbled in markdown rendered view

Summary

The unicode emojis are not rendered correctly in markdown view in Bitbucket Server, however in the raw and diff view the rendering performed by the browser is correct.

Environment

Bitbucket 5.8.0

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create README.md
2. Put the content

    📦 🚚 Text with smiles 🚚 📦

1. Commit and push into Bitbucket managed repository
2. Check the repository home page with README preview
3. Check the Source view

Expected Results

The unicode emojis rendered correctly as in JIRA: 📦 🚚 Text with smiles 🚚 📦

Actual Results

📦 🚚 Text with smiles 🚚 📦

Notes

However in Diff and raw file view everything is fine, because the markdown is not rendered there
