Support Azure AD on Bitbucket Server and Bitbucket Data Center

    • We collect Bitbucket feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

      Please add Azure to the supported platforms for Bitbucket Server, and Bitbucket Data Center. Many users host their AD server in Azure and as of now it works with Confluence and Jira though not listed as supported but only works with a 3rd party plugin like Kantenga.

            +1 for this - our IT group have moved on prem AD to Azure AD + SSO + MFA. They do not want to configure LDAP for directory access so we need a neat way of connecting BBDC to AAD. BBDC now supports SSO with AAD as the idp so it would make sense if the user directory was to also follow suit.

            This is not on our short term roadmap however, I'm opening this to get more feedback from other users. We do have a plan to support Bitbucket Data Center on Azure: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BSERV-9999 and we may review this suggestion as a part of it.
