      Hi everyone,

Bitbucket Server and Data Center 7.7 onwards, we support rendering of Jupyter notebooks. Just commit a .ipynb file to a new or existing repository in Bitbucket to view the rendered notebook.

      Cheers,

      Original description:
Github now supports rich rendering of jupyter notebooks:

      https://github.com/blog/1995-github-jupyter-notebooks-3

And Bitbucket (cloud version) seems to also support it now. Jupyter notebooks are increasingly used as a format for documentation, sharing computations, and reproducible data science in general.

The problem is that there's no support for this yet in Bitbucket Server. There's a plugin out there, but it is not very good, it can only render some notebooks, many of them render just as a blank page. Also, its LaTeX/MathJax support seems to be defective, equations are being displayed as raw LaTeX.

Note that GitHub has over 650000 notebooks shared on their website. This format is clearly becoming mainstream.
