Description
Hi all,
Good news! In Bitbucket Server 7.0 we added Advanced Auditing which helps admins and security teams to have a global view on auditing events.
You can find more information in the Bitbucket Server 7.0 release notes and Advanced Auditing documentation.
Please, don't hesitate to leave feedback on the feature in the comments. This will help us to priorities further development.

Currently, only Repository-level audit log has a UI option, and some audit logs are not included in the UI. This makes finding certain audit events hard for admins. Examples:
- Tracking global changes (such as permission grants)
- Tracking pull and or push events
Suggested Solution
Add a Global Audit Log UI in the Administration section of Bitbucket Server. Add the ability to select audit events to include in the UI per repository.
Note
The Audit Logs in the UI will only contain the last 500 actions.
Why is this important?
This would allow admin users to have more visibility into global and repository changes being made. Especially in the case of companies with siloed teams, where Bitbucket Server admins do not have access to the filesystem.
Workaround
The audit log files in <bitbucket-home>/log/audit can be searched to find the entries.
