Replicate

1. Assign a task/issue to another user in the project.
2. Log in as that user.

Expected Results

The user's avatar/account icon (in the top-right corner) changes in an obvious way to indicate a new message.

Actual Results

At a glance, it is not possible to determine whether the inbox has new messages without first clicking on the account icon in the top-right.
