I am using TortoiseHG client and today, I am getting SSL unknown protocol errors when trying to pull from Bitbucket to my local disk. This has worked in the past so not sure what has changed.

I also get the same error when using the Mercurial client from the command line. I am running Windows 7.

The command line gives the following error message:
abort: error: _ssl.c:504: error:140770FC:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_SERVER_HELLO:unknown protocol
