Scrollbar disappears if I remove contents of the text area

      As you may see in attached video (sorry for .mov), if I choose some part of the text inside of the text area, and then delete it there is no way to see a content at the top of the area (which I haven't deleted). Scrollbar just disappears. I've seen this during pull request editing, but haven't checked other components.

      My details are:

      OSX 10.8.2 64b, Google Chrome 23.0.1271.97
