Bitbucket Cloud lacks workspace-level admin controls for email notifications — all preferences are managed individually by each user. This is problematic for organizations with large project-level groups (150+ users), especially when CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) frequently create repositories. Each new repository triggers a "Bitbucket granted you write access" email to every group member, causing significant notification fatigue.
We request the ability for workspace admins to centrally disable or configure specific notification types (e.g., access-change emails) for all users, rather than requiring each user to update their settings individually.
Current Workaround:
Each user can individually disable this notification by going to Personal Bitbucket Settings → Notifications and unchecking "My access to a repository or a workspace changing" under "Email me about."
