Issue Summary
Unable to add a comment to a pull request by replying to the email notification
Steps to Reproduce
- Enable email notifications from Bitbucket Personal Settings.
- When someone comments on a pull request that you are watching, you will receive an email notification. The email states that you can reply directly to add a comment.
- Reply to the same email with your comment
Expected Results
- After sending the reply, Bitbucket should process the email and add your reply as a new comment on the pull request.
- Relevant participants on the pull request should receive the appropriate notifications.
Actual Results
- No new comment is added to the pull request.
- No notifications are sent to the relevant users.
Workaround
- Open the pull request in the UI (e.g., click on “View pull request” in the notification email) and add your comment directly in Bitbucket.
