On the Bitbucket branch creation page (https://bitbucket.org/branch/create), only a few repositories are shown by default in the ‘Repository’ field. To select any other repository from the workspace, users must start typing the repository name. However, there is currently no visual indication or tooltip to inform users that they need to type to search for additional repositories. This can cause confusion, as users may not realize that more repositories are available beyond the initial list.

Feature Request

Please add a visual hint (such as placeholder text or an info icon) or a tooltip to the ‘Repository’ field on the create branch page, clearly indicating that users can search for any repository by typing its name. This will improve usability and reduce confusion for users who expect to see all repositories listed or are unaware of the search functionality.
