Bitbucket Pipelines currently retains artifacts for 14 days, as documented here: https://support.atlassian.com/bitbucket-cloud/docs/use-artifacts-in-steps/. In some workflows, builds may need to be rerun after this period, requiring access to the original artifacts to ensure consistency between testing and deployment.

To support these use cases, it is requested that the artifact retention period be configurable or extended to up to 90 days. Since artifact sizes are often small (e.g., under 10MB per build), relying on external storage solutions such as Amazon S3 or Artifactory can introduce unnecessary complexity and overhead.

An extended retention period would help maintain reliable and consistent deployment workflows while minimizing operational burden.
