Allowing a user to view their API rate limit usage (be it in the Web UI under profile settings, on a dashboard, or otherwise) would allow users to validate if they are actively exceeding or about to exceed the API rate limit. This would enable users/admins to split any necessary traffic to other credentials (like to Access Tokens) proactively, likely before any workflows/processes encounter issues/disruptions caused by the rate limit.

A previous case, BCLOUD-18878, was already opened and marked as "won't do" in the past but due to the shift in effort and an update to the rate limit itself, in the form of scaled rate limits, we are opening this to see if the priority for such a request has shifted.
