Issue Summary

In Bitbucket's personal settings, users experience an infinite loop of windows when attempting to configure their email under the "Notifications" tab. Clicking on "Configure email" repeatedly opens new windows instead of navigating correctly.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Navigate to your Bitbucket personal settings.
2. Go to the "Notifications" tab.
3. Click on "Configure email" under the notifications settings.

A similar issue is reproducible when changing the Bitbucket username:

1. Navigate to your Bitbucket personal settings.
2. Select the link (change) next to the Bitbucket username.
3. Provide a new username and select Change.

Expected Results

Clicking "Configure email" should open a single window or navigate directly to the email configuration page without triggering an endless loop.
