Improve error message when "Require two-step verification" feature is turned on

    • Our product teams collect and evaluate feedback from a number of different sources. To learn more about how we use customer feedback in the planning process, check out our new feature policy.

At present, when the "Require two-step verification" feature is enabled and a user tries to log in without having set up two-step verification (2SV) on their account, they receive a generic error message stating, "Something went wrong...". This message is unhelpful and does not explain the actual reason for the login failure.

      Error message attached.

      Proposed Solution:

Replace the generic error message with a more specific and actionable message.
