Problem Definition

Some users would like to use multiple stages for the same deployment, e.g.

stage1: validate and plan for dev

stage2: apply for dev

The reason for that requirement is the logical grouping of steps into stages, and both stages use the same deployment variables.

At the moment, a deployment environment can only be used in only one stage of a certain pipeline.

Suggested Solution

Allow users to use a certain deployment environment in multiple stages of the same pipeline.
