Description
Customer wants to to restrict the users within their organisation from logging into their personal Bitbucket accounts with different domains within office network.
Currently, they can restrict users to access the shared workspace using access controls, but they cannot restrict users to access workspaces from different domains or personal workspaces.
Customers would like to restrict the users within their organisation from accessing any other workspace other than their shared workspace from their office network.
Using Atlassian access, we can achieve this for Jira or confluence cloud sites as they will come under managed sites, whereas for Bitbucket, it is not feasible. If the organisation is subscribed to Atlassian access and they own Jira and confluence cloud instances.
- On office network, they can open firewall only to those particular URLs as they will be unique.
- Also, using Atlassian access they can restrict login to the above URLs from any other domain.
- So the users are restricted to-
- Login only to their org owned instances from their org domain.
- Cannot login to their personal Jira/confluence cloud instances because its blocked on their firewall.
