Bitbucket Cloud offers the option to commit file deletions from the UI. This is possible while viewing a file, from the three-dot menu:

 

There is no option to commit the deletion of a directory. For directories with a large number of files, it can be time-consuming to delete them one by one.

Suggested Solution

Provide an option for users to commit directory deletion from the UI.

Workaround

Instead of deleting files one by one on the UI, users can delete the folder in a clone of the repo locally, commit, and then push to Bitbucket.
