Problem Definition

Project settings allow users to configure e.g. user permissions, branching model, and branch restrictions that apply to the project.

Some customers want the same settings for all the repos of their workspace, and they may have a large number of projects.

It can then be time-consuming to create and update settings in all projects, and also error-prone (if these settings need to be updated in all projects, a certain project may be missed).

Suggested Solution

The request is to have on the workspace level the default settings that are now available for projects:

• User permissions
• Access keys
• Branching model
• Branch restrictions
• Merge strategies
• Default reviewers

Workaround

At the moment, these settings will need to be configured for each project of the workspace.
