Problem Definition

If you try to start a Linux Shell runner and there is a temporary issue with your internet connection or the runner is disabled, the runner returns some Java exceptions that do not indicate what the problem is. Someone may spend a lot of time before they figure out the issue is caused by a disabled runner or the internet connection not working.

Suggested Solution

It would be useful to provide clearer messages if the runner fails so that the user knows what to look into to resolve the failure.

In case someone tries to start a disabled runner, it would be useful to show a message that the runner is disabled.

In case there are connectivity issues with Bitbucket Cloud, it would be useful to indicate that.
