Issue Summary
Jira issues that are tagged with a smart commit or included in the PR title don't appear on the Jira sidecard within the PR, even though it is linked correctly.
Additionally, these Jira issues are picked up on the Jira side. If we look at the Jira ticket, the issue will show the correct commit or PR tagged. However, the issue must be shown on the Bitbucket PR page.
We have tried the following steps
- Disconnecting and connecting the Jira site from the Bitbucket cloud workspace
- Unlinking and linking the repository from DVCS Settings in Jira
Steps to Reproduce
Create a PR with either
- Commits, including the Jira issue key (Smart commit)
- Issue key in the title of the PR
You can also create a branch in Bitbucket from the Jira site, which will be tagged with the Issue key correctly.
Expected Results
The Jira issue key is to be tagged in the sidecard of the PR, and the Issue key itself on Jira site to reflect the commit/PR
Actual Results
Jira issue key is not tagged in the sidecard of the PR. The issue link on the site will show the PR/commit.
Workaround
As a workaround, you can add the issue to the PR description.
