Problem Definition

In the Global diff view settings (that can be accessed by going to Branches > select a branch > Select Settings) it is possible to switch between Unified diff and a Side-by-side diff.

If we select a Side-by-side diff, this option is not applied on the following page:

1. Go to the Source page of the repo
2. Select a file
3. On the file's page, from the drop-down Source select Diff, like in the screenshot below:

This page always shows a unified diff
