Bitbucket does not allow hosting a Shallow clone. The user can create a shallow clone but cannot push to Bitbucket.
Example - If we want to create a shallow clone with N depth, we can create it and get only top N latest commits. However, if we try to push that clone in a new Bitbucket repository, we encounter the below error: 

 ! [remote rejected] master -> master (shallow update not allowed)
