Currently, we have 3 seconds render limit on .md files on the repository Source view page. If the .md file is huge (e.g. 500KB+), the file will take time to load and if it takes more than 3 seconds, the .md file will not be rendered.

Feature request:
It will be great if we can support markdown rendering for large .md files.

Possible workaround:
Maintain the .md file size to less than 500KB
