      Hey team,

Not sure if this has already been raised previously or not but I couldn't find anything personally via search.

A customer has raised a request to be able to convert personal workspaces to team workspaces and vice versa. This will simplify the process greatly when users on personal workspaces created prior to the introduction of team workspaces need to make this change.
Currently the process requires transferring repositories and users manually over to an empty team workspace which is time consuming and cumbersome.

      Thanks,
      Ben

Yes please, this feature seems as a minimal requirement when changing the default workspace type from personal to shared/team workspaces.

What is the current status of this?

We need this ASAP, since when creating a workspace back in 2022 the user did not see the option of a team workspace or a personal one and even in the list of workspace it does not list what type of workspace we're working on.

We have many repository and projects set as personal with various customer of our. This would definitely make our life easier than having to transfer ownership of project/repositories. The biggest impact is to have to reconfigure the url in multiple location like our IDE and Virtual Machine. We usually start with a personal project with less then 5 users but as project grows we need to transfer ownership to customer and having to reconfigure all url everywhere is a painful exercise.

We definitely need this at our company as well. It was created as a personal workspace at first. The inability to convert it is problematic!

Hello, is there any update on this?

Yes please. We have more than 50 repositories (I've lost count) under my account and I don't want to migrate them yet again manually to a team workspace after having migrated them from Bitbucket server edition last year. It required a lot of manual work and all developers had to also update their local repository settings for each of them, which was a pain.
