As a user, I would like to have consistent search results when searching branches

Right now if we have a list of branches that look like this:
1. manual-qa

2. qa-102938

3. hello-qa

4. qa

And I search for `qa`, I expect the first result to be number 4, instead I get a bunch of branch names in no logical order
