The RSS Feed from the status page (https://bitbucket.status.atlassian.com/history.rss) includes scheduled maintenance items with pubDates in the future. Slacks RSS Feed uses the date as a bookmark and only shows items that appear with pubDates after the previous bookmark. This means the scheduled maintenance posts from the future are hiding current new issues in the feed when viewed from slack.

Slack suggests putting a third party between the above URL and the slack RSS Feed e.g. IFTTT automate.io etc.

I would like to suggest that the feed be modified either to move the scheduled maintenance entries to a new feed specifically for scheduled maintenance or to change the posts so the title includes the date of the maintenance and the pubDate be the actual time of publication of the rss item.
