As a developer using the REST APIs, I want to be able to create a PR with attachments and add attachments to an existing PR

      Problem Definition

      Using the UI, it is possible to create a PR with an attachment or to add an attachment to an existing PR.

      This is currently not possible when using the REST APIs.

      Suggested Solution

      Provide the following features via APIs:

      • add attachments as part of the PR creation API
      • add attachments to an existing PR

            This is disappointing since this could be a solution for working with Simulink Models. The API would enable to programmatically add before / after changes information (e.g. HTML diff reports from Matlab) about the model changes.

            This is very much needed and its very disappointing to see that this has just been closed without any justification as to why its low priority.

            After reviewing this issue, we determined that it was low priority and unlikely to be worked on in the near future. We appreciate your input, but want to be transparent about our decision to not fix this right now.
