It would be useful to set up a sort of baseline setting so that we can protect our master branches en masse. For example, having just migrated from Bitbucket Server, our repositories no longer have their configurations, so many of them have a master branch that is exposed to direct writes. It was frustrating to find that they would all have to manually be configured.

I think, in the interest of making migration easier, and also making it easier to establish a protocol for all of the developers in a workspace, some more global way of configuring repositories is necessary. If not on a workspace level then on at least a project level.
