It has been requested to sync Projects between Bitbucket Cloud and JIRA Cloud when the two are integrated: when someone creates e.g. a Project in Bitbucket Cloud, then create automatically a Project in JIRA.

If an Issue tracker is enabled for a Bitbucket Cloud repo, and there are Components and Versions defined, then sync those also with JIRA: create automatically those Components and Versions for the JIRA Project with the same name as the Project this repo belongs to in Bitbucket.

The reason this has been asked is because at the moment users have to create separate projects, components and versions on both platforms.
