It would be useful for us to have an option to either:

1. Set a default transition state in the Transition issues section on Merge.
   • This would help an admin decide what the transition state is supposed to be when there is multiple options present.
2. Set the Transition issues section off
   • Since the default value isn't necessarily what the admin expects/requires, having the wrong/unexpected option on this feature can/will cause workflow issues in Jira
