Ability to change default branch name

When creating a new repository, and adding an initial commit (say, when you add a new readme file for example) the default branch name is master for this initial commit.

This feature request is to add the ability to choose the default branch name on the initial commit.

The workaround here is to either create the initial commit locally or to rename the branch locally.
