Show notifications and number of PRs, etc. in side bar/menu panel

    • Our product teams collect and evaluate feedback from a number of different sources. To learn more about how we use customer feedback in the planning process, check out our new feature policy.

      It would be great to see notifications in the left hand menu panel - to be notified there of new PRs, commits, new issues, etc. as well as be able to see the total number of PRs or issues in a repo in that menu.
